Jordyn (author and creator of Living on the Upbeat), a fellow blogger and Twitter buddy nominated me this week for this Award!
Getting these nominations makes me feel super excited and proud. Having a single person reading my posts and finding them useful means the world, so getting these nominations is more than I could ask for 🙂
For me, they’re a recognition of my hard work. Because, in case you didn’t know, blogging is bloody hard!
When I started blogging I didn’t even think I’d ever get an award for anything. Yet here we are and I’m super proud and grateful.
Thanks again, Jordyn!
My answers to Jordyn’s questions:
How did you get into blogging?
I read this book because I was desperate to find a new source of income. When I read people are making money blogging, I knew it was what I was looking for.
Even though I realized from the first second it must be freaking hard, I decided to give it a try!
What do you do to de-stress?
I generally write in my journal. I’ve found it’s the best therapy for me.
If you could visit any decade, what would it be and why?
I think I’d go back to the 90’s. I’d love to be fangirling for Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys all over again!
What is your superpower (something you are really good at)?
I’m super disciplined and persistence. It took me a while to realize it’s not something everybody has.
I used to believe there was nothing special about it, but now I know it’s the main foundation of everything I’ve accomplished so far.
If you could master any one thing, what would it be?
I’d love to be able to make friends easily.
What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to or a place you would like to travel to?
I’d love to go to Bali!
What little things brighten your day?
The Christmas decorations in my house right now 🙂
Do you have a favorite book or author?
A favorite book: Shoe Dog, by Phil Knight.
It made me laugh all the way through and it also made me feel super inspired to go after the things I want. Plus, I learned badass entrepreneurial advice from it.
What is your go-to weeknight dinner?
I’ve been obsessed with poké for 3 years now. It’s like sushi, but better.
It’s healthy, packed with nutrients, so easy to make and absolutely delicious!
